Hello Beauti!

I’m Jess!

My Therapy Philosophy
I believe healing begins when we reclaim the parts of ourselves that have been silenced by shame, comparison, and unrealistic expectations—especially those shaped by culture, religion, and early relationships. My work centers around helping high-achieving women of color unlearn perfectionism, restore emotional safety, and reconnect with their bodies, worth, and truth.

I integrate clinical wisdom with cultural awareness, attachment theory, somatic practices, and creative tools to help clients not just talk about healing—but experience it in their everyday lives.

Jessica is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 8 years of extensive experience working with clients who struggle with insecure attachment, eating disorders, and severe negative body image issues in residential and outpatient settings.  Jessica received her Bachelor’s at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (AGGIE PRIDE!) with a Sociology major and a Psychology minor.  She then went on to complete my Master’s at Liberty University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

Jessica has a deep passion for helping individuals and couples by helping them discover their self-worth, navigate through life transitions, unhealthy relationship patterns, and heal through trauma. She supports her clients with compassion to grow in deeper self-awareness, expose blind spots, and create safety in their relationship with themselves while getting clarity on how to care for their body, understand their relationship with food, and align with their faith.

Jessica is a Southern girl, raised in a small town in North Carolina and now living in Atlanta, GA. She feels most inspired by helping others acknowledge and embrace their strengths and beauty. Jessica also feel most alive when going out to brunch with the girls, traveling, and trying new foods.

“I love seeing others transform and become at peace with themselves!  I believe that when individuals heal they will create healthier families and communities.”

— Jess

The Process

  • A young woman with curly dark hair wearing a yellow top, smiling while looking at her phone, sitting in a cozy cafe with a brick wall and large window in the background.

    Connect

At the initial stage of engaging in our services, you may find yourself grappling with various challenges related to self-esteem, body image, and relationships. You may experience feelings of inadequacy, self-doubt, and dissatisfaction with their appearance, which often impacts your interactions with others and their overall sense of well-being. If this is you, connect here.

  • Two women having a conversation in a bright room with large windows.

As you progress through therapy, you will embark on a journey of self-exploration and discovery, unpacking deeper into the underlying factors contributing to your struggles with self-esteem, body image, and relationships. Together we will unpack the complex emotions, past experiences, and societal influences that have shaped your beliefs and perceptions.
